Library Telehealth Access Points (LTAPs) Project
We’ve partnered with the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System (HSPLS) and the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health (HDOH) to establish Library Telehealth Access Points (LTAPS) throughout the state.
The project allows patients to (1) have a telehealth session with their provider in a private space in the library and/or (2) check-out a free Telehealth Tech Kit which comes with all the necessary equipment to conduct a telehealth appointment from a patients home. Tech Kits include a Chromebook, mobile hotspot unit, power cords and detailed instructions. In specific libraries (see below), a Telehealth Navigator is present to assist with digital skills and other questions as needed.
Check-out a library near you and any of these Telehealth Navigators may assist you.

In partnership with FEMA Region 9, Interagency Recovery Coordination and supported by Hawaiʻi Statewide GIS Program, you may now utilize the Hawaiʻi Telehealth Access Points Mapping application.
The Hawaiʻi Telehealth Access Points Mapping application is equipped with navigation tools and bus routes to all major libraries, hospitals, and FQHCs that offer telehealth services. You may also find Telehealth Navigator and Tech Kit information at select library locations.
Are you interested in connecting patients with their providers via telehealth from a safe and private space in a state public library? Apply now, and together we can help individuals receive the care they need!
